Waking up vs. falling asleep of consciousness in old age

Today I've finished the translation of the newest article published in German some days ago:

My model, which I have not yet presented on this website but have published in the Journal of Transpersonal Research, essentially reveals the fundamental polarity of the last phase of life, old age:

Awakening of consciousness vs. falling asleep of consciousness

as a metaphor for spiritual awakening vs. dementia.

This may sound provocative, but I do not mean to be provocative. Rather, life in its final phase is extremely provocative, and it is up to each individual to decide whether they want to do the work, the consciousness work, that this entails.

More on this in the article Waking Up vs. Falling Asleep.
